Want more intimacy with oneself, with other and with that which is more than us? Then read this book.

What you may be saying too:

This book is strong and poetic. The little spiritual stories and all the dialogues are beautiful. The part where you describe your awakening is the most beautiful description I’ve ever read. I was even crying because it’s so beautiful. Congratulations.

As a reader I feel absolutely blessed with your truth and honesty about everything. Your poems too are extraordinary – loved them. Some of them, like the empty plate, are world class. Congratulations!

Her wicked humour and stunning presence are spellbinding.

We all yearn for deeper intimacy, which requires true vulnerability.

When we face life with an open heart we stumble upon both terror and the divine. How to navigate these deep waters in order to become more of who we actually are?

In the tradition of ‘Women Who Run with the Wolves’, ‘On Intimacy’ is a deeply moving book with insights into the perils and joys of intimacy with oneself, with others, and with that which is more than us.

Written in bubbling streams of real life tales, it is a challenge not to feel they have been specifically written for you. The meadows and mountains of intimacy are wandered around, vulnerable experiences are shared and stories connect – or not – so that you the reader, can find your own path through to what it is to be more you, to be more with others, to feel deep down when the personal dissolves into the bliss of the universal. And yes, this book walks the muddy path of grabbling with being but a simple human being.

On Intimacy will take you into yourself and move you where it matters.

Blogs, Daily Poems and Poetry Books!

To enjoy more of Julia Robinson word’s, wonders and wisdom, go to Shiva’s Lightsaber blog, or like her to daily facebook page Poems on Intimacy or contact her to buy ‘Paros Poems’ a book of poems that weave around the art of being alive.

Julia Robinson has spent her life out of the box, hitchhiking around the world, floating down the Amazon in a self-made raft, selling roasted chickens in Argentina, working at an orphanage in Nepal, studying Jungian psychology in Catalonia, going to art school in Greece, writing and dancing in Colorado.

Forty-two countries later she is now back in her native England, living in between trees, swimming and washing in a river and, of course, crafting words. Her writings glow with a rare intensity of life that also manage to imbibe soft wisdom. She expresses the breadth of her experience in her expansive poetry and wonderfully woven words of prose. Somehow as if from nowhere this book has arisen from out of her heart. Writing around her poems, the prose gives them context and accessibility. Wondering in and out of her prose, she hopes to motivate people to connect more fully to their inner worlds, to go beyond the individual – and so to give space to the possibility of us all connecting in our outer worlds in a more meaningful way.

Can you image if we all embark upon a new way to be in this one precious world? How everything can change! On the count of three…

To contact her with ideas, pleas, or with wit of the absurd (yes please!) don’t hestitate to email:
